What was Camp Quirky 2019 all about?

Camp Quirky was sell out event and a huge success! If you were there we’d love to hear your stories. Join us in The Quirky Campfire Facebook group where we keep in touch and reminisce.

In 2019 Camp Quirky went diesel free and ran a low impact festival. We powered all of the site electrics (stage, bar, lighting etc.) purely from solar energy generated on site. As well as workshops in all things campervan related, we hosted workshops on sustainable living and ways to reduce our impact on the environment in these delicate times. Here’s a write up on all things eco and Camp Quirky!

We grew the festival in 2019 but still maintained the same friendly and intimate feel. If you came along we’re sure you met lots of friendly and likeminded people who are just as excited as you about campervans. Here’s what was involved in 2019:

  • Dozens of the Quirky Campers fleet on site with their doors open for you to have a nose and ask questions
  • Workshops and talks on everything from insulation to interior design, resourceful living to renewable energy
  • Stalls full of useful and beautiful items for your handmade campervan conversion from storage pouches to woodburning stoves
  • Top quality live music and entertainment
  • Childrens area with lots of activities
  • The best food stalls and bars
  • A Q&A with the Quirky Campers Directors
