We are Blackheart! We are a Bristol based bespoke conversion company, specialising in vehicles and shipping containers. We are four old friends who formally set up over a year ago. Our specialist skills in carpentry, joinery, electrics, mechanics, welding and computer aided design enables us to see through all elements of a conversion under one roof.

Between us we have many years of experience both living and traveling in converted vehicles. We know what works and what doesn’t and what little luxuries are worth the extra effort. With our practical experience and price guides we are able to work to a variety of budgets and requirements. Most importantly, we enjoy the challenge and creativity of it all.

All of our work is totally bespoke giving our clients a unique end product. We understand that the importance of communication and transparency cannot be understated. Our computer aided design assists with this massively throughout the conversion process.

We pride ourselves in being able to cater for just about anything the client requires in regards to types of timber, build methods and systems. We have friends at Bristol Wood Recycling Project (https://www.bwrp.org.uk/) who we have used for reclaimed wood and we have used Interesting Timbers (https://www.interestingtimbers.co.uk/) for more specialised requirements. We can fit solar panels, wood burners, showers, belly boxes, entertainment systems…

We are new to the Quirky Campers family, but we look forward to our new relationship and with time our vehicles being introduced to this website!
