Freshly Converted Mercedes Sprinter MWB, 2012, 71000 miles. Full service history.
Has been meticulously looked after by previous owner. Bought in March as a panel van to be converted into a campervan. It has been kept unused off the road whilst the work was undertaken, now have decided to sell. I have just taken it out for its first run since the completion of the build, runs like a dream.
Every piece of this fit out has been hand crafted, so here is a completely one off, bespoke build, no CNC machines in sight.
The van has been heavily insulated with 50mm celotex in the ceiling and larger wall panels, with earthwool filling all other harder to reach gaps in the body work. Vapour barrier added after this. I can show further photos of the build.
Top cabinets and doors are made from 12mm birch ply, the lower bigger units are made from lightweight poplar ply. Lots of storage above cab, in the wall cabinets, and under bench seats. The table can be swivelled to alter its position, it then forms part of the bed base.
Two Skylights have been fitted, one has a two way fan for extraction or to bring air into the van. 2 x 85 ah leisure batteries, charged by a 150 watt Renogy solar panel. Also fitted is a CTek D250sa battery to battery charger. This is a top of the range MPPT (solar regulator) and highly efficient split charge relay combined into one unit. So charging the batteries when the engine is running, and from the sun. To monitor battery power a Victron BMV 700 is fitted showing accurate battery level percentages. USB charging ports as well as cigarette style socket.
The fridge is an efficient 12v Webasto Cruise CR49.
Hot air heating is provided by a 12v Diesel heater for camping in colder months.
For drinking water there is a 55L water tank situated in the rear of the van, easily accessible for future cleaning.
Large Fiamma F65s Awning, sides can be added to this but purchased separately.
I had a pre purchase inspection carried out on the van before I bought it via a highly experienced mechanic at ‘Click Mechanic’, they were impressed with the condition of the van, couldn’t find any faults. I can provide this report on request. The van has only ever failed one MOT due to damage on a tyre, which has been replaced.
Current MOT until December, new one will be added before sale.
I have just sent paperwork to the DVLA to reclassify the vehicle as a campervan, so awaiting paperwork for this.

Double bed is created by dropping the table into position, and sofa backs are placed on this to form the bed.
