We have converted this campervan to a very high standard, based around our own camper vanning experience. We spent a great deal of time sourcing the best possible base van for this project, so this camper comes with an upgraded Bluetooth dab stereo with reversing camera, electric windows, cruise control, metallic paint, air conditioning and a brand new vehicle battery.
It was really important to us that the camper be comfortable and practical, so a permanent fixed bed was an absolute must have! The bespoke mattress is 4 inch memory foam and measures 6’ x 4’6”.
We also wanted to maximise space in the conversion so added swivel captains and passenger seats for dining or relaxing – no-one wants to eat their dinner on a bed! A removable table top fixes onto a swivel base. So can be used as both a table or an extension to the work surface.
To ensure the camper felt light and airy, windows were added all around, flooding the interior with natural light, and we kept the units all low level – but don’t worry, there is tons of storage! There are 3 drawers on soft close runners, and 2 large cupboards within the kitchen area. Then under the bed we have fitted 4 large drawers, with push to open runners – because there’s nothing worse than when all the drawers open if you brake suddenly! There are two handy storage areas by the sliding door, one with a cupboard door, and the other takes the form of a buddy box with piano hinged lid and upholstered seat pad with removable cover.
Around to the rear of the vehicle there is a huge boot, with ample storage, giving access to the electrics and gas locker.
The furniture is all handmade, and painted in Farrow & Ball Oval Room Blue, with pewter cup handles throughout. The kitchen area is fitted with solid oak worktops, undermounted stainless steel sink & tap, 2 burner glass gas hob, and loads of worktop space to cook up a storm on your camping trips! There is also a large capacity Waeco CRX50 compressor fridge with icebox.
The camper is fully insulated and clad in pine tongue and groove, painted in Farrow & Ball Cornforth White. There is a 2kw Planar diesel heater with programmable control panel to keep the camper warm and toasty.
A 110 amp leisure battery is fitted, and there is electric hook up for use on campsites, but for off grid camping there is also a 100 watt solar panel with split charge relay. This panel keeps both the leisure battery and vehicle battery topped up when the vehicle engine is not in use.
All the curtains have been made to measure with blackout lining, and a set of thermal cab screens are included for the windscreen and driver and passenger windows.
The vehicle has been re-classified since it was converted and is registered as a van with side windows.

The camper has one fixed double bed measuring 1.8 metres x 1.2 metres. A bespoke 4 inch memory foam mattress makes it a really comfortable bed, without the inconvenience of having to make the bed up every day, and having to find space to store bedding!
There is plenty of storage below the raised height bed, and a handy buddy box which doubles as a step to make getting in and out of the bed a breeze.
