Fiat Ducato 2.3 Diesel LWB, 6 gears. MOT current until 08/2020
Fully off-grid, high spec camper van.
Clover has been designed to be a cosy cottage on wheels, and has been professionally converted. From the warm reclaimed wooden interior made from 1920s floorboards, and kitchen complete with Belfast sink, Clover has heaps of character and charm. Inside, this light and bright 2 berth camper van reveals a high-tech finish to the rustic interior design style.
There are two underslung fresh water tanks that hold a massive 150 litres of fresh water, so that you can fill up and go off-grid for longer. We had an outdoor shower installed for our dogs, which is also handy to clean off sandy feet! But the indoor shower in the bathroom (this is where the cassette toilet with 18lt tank lives) means you can keep clean in privacy. There is a water heater for the taps and indoor shower, which warms up the water wonderfully too.
Clover has a 250w solar panel and a 12V electrics system powered by leisure batteries which are also charged while driving, which means there is plenty of electricity generated. There is also a propex gas heating system for the colder weather, the van heats up really quickly when you turn it on and it can also be used as a fan in the hotter months.
We love the vintage Calor Gas oven, hob and grill in the kitchen area. It has so much character and means you can cook (almost) anything you can in a regular sized kitchen. There’s plenty of storage in the kitchen for food, as well as a fridge with a small freezer. There have been clever space saving ideas designed into the kitchen like the foldaway wall mounted dish rack and a cover for the Belfast sink to make extra worktop space. Also great for hiding any dirty dishes!
Other clever design features we love include the doggy / kiddy gate which slides nicely into the draw storage unit (unnoticeable when slid away) and the projector in the bedroom area.
When designing Clover we wanted to keep her as ‘stealthy’ as possible for wild camping. So the two skylights and side window let in plenty of natural light without being too obvious she has been converted. There are also plenty of individually operated LED spotlights (and fairy lights!) for when you need them at night.
Clover has also been fitted with deadlocks on each door of the van, giving extra security and peace of mind. She also has a tracking device installed.
Finally, to make driving and especially parking up easier there is a rear fitted camera and the van also has parking sensors.
We were so pleased with the high spec finish and attention to detail that the professional conversion team did and have loved owning Clover. We will be sad to see her go but hope she will give someone out there a beautiful camper van to either live in full-time or use for weekend adventures and holidays.
The van comes with a instruction booklet and folder with lots of instruction manuals.
We are open to sensible offers. Thank you.
