Campervan hire available from just south of Birmingham in Worcestershire, Wanda is first and foremost an adventure campervan, built around her owners’ love of rock climbing, hiking, scrambling and all things outdoorsy. You'll find you can fit many ropes down the side cupboards and an entire trad rack in the back drawers if that's your thing. That said, they like their creature comforts too. The seating has been designed for maximum snuggling comfort and there's a surround-sound system complete with a television screen plug, so it’s perfect for a good old-fashioned film night. A super-efficient gas powered heating system means you don't have to wear long johns to keep toasty.

She's been built for versatile practicality - there are numerous hooks that you can move around to best suit your needs; whether it's to strap a dog crate to the floor whilst in transit or simply to hang a wash bag over the sink. You can adapt Wanda to suit your kind of adventure.

Her creators’ love for industrial geometric design means there are a lot of repurposed sustainable materials used with lots of lovely straight lines! These are softened up by an equal passion for cushions. You will find many of these along with warm blankets to wrap up in - to chill out by the fire pit or to make the getting up and putting on the first pot of coffee a little more bearable!

    Conversion Story

Wanda started out life as a carpet fitters van in Essex. Up for rehoming, we fell in love with her and bought her back to Worcestershire to live out the rest of her days as an adventure camper. She was designed around our love of rock climbing, hiking, scrambling and all other outdoor related activities.

She had a little detour to Leicestershire where the amazing lads at Snailvans worked their magic and transformed her into at the beautiful handcrafted campervan you can see now.

  • Insurance, Breakdown & Drivers

Wanda has comprehensive insurance specifically for hiring of campervans that covers drivers which meet the following citeria:

Ages: between 23 and 75 years young
Nationality*: UK or EU driver’s licenses
    Length held: Minimum 2 years
Points*: Up to two minor offenses in the past 5 years is OK (no more than 6 points)
Claims*: No more than 1 claim in the past 5 years

*NOTE: These items are flexible but the campervan owner will need to refer the driver's details to the insurer and may require some additional information.

International Drivers from most countries can be covered but the excess is likely to be higher. USA, CA, NZ or AU have always been a yes and often with the standard excess.

The full booking form will ask for all the relevant details but feel free to drop us an email if you have any questions. There is an excess of between £750 and £2000 in the event of any damage to the vehicle. This amount is set by the insurer and is dependant on driver age, convictions, claims and country of issue (for a UK driver with a clean license it will be £750).

Full breakdown cover is also included – details are in the Campervan.

    Travelling with Children

Wanda is suitable for travelling with children.

Wanda is only a 2 berth campervan and is fairly compact. We are more than happy for children to enjoy Wanda however there is only enough room in her for 2 adults, 1 adult and a child or potentially 2 adults and a very small baby. There isn't really enough room for a cot.

    Pet Policy

We’re happy for you to take your furry friends as long as Wanda is brought back in same condition you found her. We politely request for an additional £50 deposit on top of the normal deposit to cover damage and any additional cleaning needed. If all is well when you return Wanda then the deposit will be refunded. Wanda is not really big enough to accommodate large dogs.

    European Travel

Yes you can take Wanda outside the UK. Breakdown and insurance for European travel are included in the standard booking cost. Please note European travel includes Republic of Ireland and the EU27. For other countries, please get in touch before you book and provide us with the dates, vehicle and countries to be visited.
