This campervan absolutely delivers oodles of storage, whether you’re bringing a dog along or not. There’s a large under bed garage storage space which will easily store 2 mountain bikes or an inflatable kayak. Of course, if your dogs are a super important part of your holiday, this dog friendly campervan hire is absolutely perfect for your holiday. When travelling with dogs, this space will accommodate 2 medium sized dogs perfectly. There is also a large cupboard over the cab and under-seating storage for muddy boots!
K9 is a camper van for all seasons, as there is a super-efficient diesel heating system to keep you toasty as you snuggle up in the Winter, having brewed a hot cup of coffee on the three-burner kitchen hob, admiring the snow-covered Scottish mountains.
One of the main attractions about going on a campervan holiday is the ability to go off-grid. When you hire K9, you will be able to explore the wild spaces of Scotland by utilising the large solar panel on the roof. Of course, if you want a night of camp site luxury, you have a hook-up connection too.
You will feel right at home in this comfortable campervan with its tweed seating and curtains, pine surfaces and lovely copper accents in the tap and sink.
Pick up K9 from Peebles in the Scottish borders, just south of Edinburgh. It’s about 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, with great travel links from Glasgow too. Then, off you go, ready for an epic campervan holiday adventure!

Conversion StoryK-9 started life as a Network Rail Welfare Van. I bought the vehicle in November 2018 and handed it to 'Boneyard Campers', who are a professional camper van conversion company, located in Peebles. Their 'brief' was to create a van with a Scottish feel using Tweeds, Copper & Brass, together with natural woods.
One month later, they delivered my van beyond my expectations!
