And, boy, does she have space! The garage underneath the bed, is a vast space waiting for bikes, dog crates, tables and chairs and all the adventure kit you could think of! This area can be accessed from the inside of the van, so you don’t even have to go outside to get to your clothes in case it’s raining!
Astrid also has oodles of storage in the front; the kitchen with its two-ring gas hob has plenty of cupboard space and there’s even more storage over the bed. Somehow, Astrid still manages to be effortlessly roomy when you’re in her, and the softwood pine cladding makes you feel like you’re in some sort of wonderful Norwegian forest!
This luxury campervan doesn’t leave you wanting when it comes to home comforts. Instant hot water is provided by the LPG water heater which powers the inside shower too. Cosy nights in are achieved with the diesel heater which keeps you toasty right down to -40 degree temperatures.
Off grid camping is super easy with Astrid, as she has solar panels on her roof. When you fancy a few nights off the wilderness, you can use the 230v hook up. So why not explore the North West or head further afield. The beauty of a campervan or motorhome hire is you can follow your nose wherever it takes you.
Astrid is perfect for a romantic getaway for two, as the transverse bed has been fitted at the widest point in the van. This means tall people can stretch out comfortably! She’s also great for camping with children, as the seating converts at night to make room for another little one too.
With optional extras to hire including a hammock, classical guitar and BBQ, you’ve got all the ingredients for a perfect campervan holiday in one beautifully crafted and gorgeously decorated van.

Conversion StoryThis is a fresh new conversion, professionally completed by SSL Conversions of Hampshire. The theme of this conversion is to connect you to nature wherever you decide to park up. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Forests of Scandinavia, we opted for a conversion using softwood pine cladding to give a natural forest feel. To compliment the real wood interior the kitchen worktop and dining table are both made from solid beech. The layout is designed to make the best use of the space available and incorporate all the creature comforts to camp for long periods of time away from sites, while not losing focus on what camping is all about, the great outdoors.
