Reason For Selling:
After many wonderful adventures in Louie it’s time to downsize to a weekend getaway van. Louie has taken us on weekend trips to the coast as well as month-long adventures in Scotland, Cornwall, Wales… Although high mileage, the engine is in great condition and is such a reliable vehicle.

Vehicle Details:
– Engine size: 2.2L
– Fuel: Diesel
– Gears: 6
– Engine condition: Excellent
– MOT Sep-24
– 1 Key / Central Locking
– No cruise control
– Bodywork:
– We had the undercarriage sealed when we first bought it to prevent rust underneath the van
– A few scuffs from wear and small patches of rust on body of van
– 1 x medium dent (rear doors, this does not affect functionality)
– Sliding door needs a bit of a shove to close
– Driver side windscreen trim missing

Conversion Description

We converted ourselves in 2020, and has a gorgeous scandie feel with the pine cladding.

✨Insulation✨
This was really important for us, as we use the van throughout the winter for surf trips so wanted to keep cosy and condensation-free. We used 50mm celltex on walls, with slightly less on ceiling and floor to retain standing height. We then added a layer of Thermawrap before cladding.

✨Kitchen✨
The van comes with a fully equipped kitchen that is both functional and stylish, with a beautiful yew countertop. The yew we bought from a guy in London who provides sustainable hardwood, sourced from trees felled in the area. There is a double LPG gas stove with sink and electric tap.

✨Living area✨
The living area features a wooden bench with storage underneath, and a table top made from a cut-off of the yew mentioned above.

✨Storage✨
We prioritised a fixed bed for maximum sleep comfort, and there is heaps of storage under the bed for surfboards / bikes / skis / whatever adventure equipment you need! There is additional overhead storage by the bed, and hidden slopes cupboard storage on other side of the bed.

✨Water✨
The van comes with two 25 litre water tanks, one fresh and one waste. These are stored directly below the sink for easy access to be filled and drained.

✨Electrics✨
LED spotlights are the main lighting in the conversion. We installed LED strip lights by the bed which need repair. There are USB charging points by the bed as well as an extractor fan over the kitchen area. There is a 12v fridge / freezer included. The inverter needs replacing if you would like to use AC power (e.g. charging laptop). We installed an LPG heater which is perfect in the winter months for keeping warm and cosy.
