Bristol

4 Belted seats 2 Adult beds 2 Child beds

Rex is the king of campervans; a stunning VW T30 conversion with room for up to 4 people to see the world in style. This campervan hire Bristol is certainly not your standard Volkswagen camper – handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail you can’t fail to admire the beauty of his bold stylish cupboards and seats. There’s a big sofa/bed downstairs and a foldaway bunk up top that could take one adult or two children, plus a pop-up roof to give plenty of headroom. And if you love to cycle (or need somewhere to dry wetsuits!) there is a four-bike carrier at the back. Rex has a powerful engine but is still compact and economical, so he’ll eat up the motorway miles and navigate country lanes so with ease; so if you want a remote and secluded off-grid park up, Rex will absolutely deliver!

Conversion Story: This campervan was converted by me from a windowless panel van. It is my labour of love. When I started, three years ago, I never had any intention of renting him out. Being a keen climber, surfer and mountain biker I would be away somewhere most weekends, and the idea of owning a campervan had always been a dream. When the opportunity arose of getting a basic van as a joint project with family, I naturally jumped on it. Being a professional carpenter, I was never going to settle for a boring, mass produced conversion! I was passionate about creating something a little bit special, something unique, that was beyond what a normal conversion company would have the time, patience or inclination to create. Three years of evenings and weekends later, and I think I achieved that. I feel incredibly lucky to have Rex now, and with family now having their own vans too, I feel like he deserves to be shared and shown off a bit!
