We are sadly selling our beloved van due to not using it enough with a toddler and another on the way. We purchased the van as a new conversion in September 2020 but have only used it a handful of times. We had planned to rent the van via Quirky Campers and it is approved ready to go but we just don’t have the time with work and family life to be organised enough!
The van drives really well and we haven’t had any problems in the time that we’ve had it. It had a full service & MOT August 2021. There are no signs of rust but some minor dents.
The conversion was hand built by a professional carpenter to a high standard and is truly bespoke. It is practical, beautiful and a real eye turner; we often have people asking to look around the van. There is a comfortable fixed double bed with ample storage below accessed from the rear. There are 2 large benches for seating with plenty or storage below, including room for the Porta Potty. The solid wood dining table can be lowered to create a larger child bed or stored next to fridge when not needed. The kitchen units are solid wood and there are high shelves around the van providing additional storage. The sink has a water pump and the cupboard below houses the 5 litre water tank and waste tank.
There are 2 roof skylights with black out options. The gas work has been upgraded to meet landlord standards and the van has a landlord gas safety certificate as we had planned to rent the van. There is a newly fitted diesel heater which pumps out plenty of heat for those colder nights.
There is a 110AH leisure battery and 100 watt solar panel with an inverter as well as 240v hook up. There are 2 USB sockets and 4 plug sockets in the main cab, with additional sockets in the rear. The van also has a 240v portable shower.
Fixed full size adult double with comfortable mattress. One of the benches can be used as a child’s bed, alternatively the table can attach to join the benches to create a slightly longer child’s bed.
